TANK BARGES
A tank barge is used to transport any type of liquid commodity along the inland rivers and the gulf regions. In the middle Ohio Valley region crude oil is transported from the lower Mississippi River to the refineries. In return gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel, benzene, and other hazardous liquids are shipped southward. The plans described herein are of a typical petroleum barge capable of carrying any of the above described fuels.
