TAMMY L. WHITE The mv. TAMMY L. WHITE was built in 1923 by Marietta Manufacturing Company of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. She was originally a sternwheeler named TROJAN owned by Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp. in Pittsburgh. Rebuilt in 1942 by J&L Steel, Floreffe, PA, she was converted to a single screw towboat with dimensions of 101.9 X 22.5. she was sold to Madison Coal & Supply Company, Charleston, WV in 1990 and was repowered 1992 with a 900 hp GM 12V-149TI diesel.
