LIL' JOHN
I named this boat for my step son who loves to run boats with me. In reality it is built after the Corps of Engineers vessels P. H. WORLEY and WILLIAM R. PORTER built in 1992 by Halter Marine Inc, Lockport, LA. They are powered by two Cummins NTA855 diesels rated at 400 hp each. These boats are designed as tenders handling work flats and crane flats around locks and construction sites.
